About us
Advocating for women’s and girls’ rights since 2018
Who we are
We stand for equality, dignity, and empowerment for every woman and girl, ensuring no one is left behind.
Sisters 4 Sisters (Liberia) is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the capacity and well-being of girls and women across Liberia. We advocate for their rights, promote inclusive development, and create life-enhancing opportunities through education, health services, and economic empowerment.
Our mission is to strengthen the capacity and well-being of girls and women and advocate for their inclusion and rights, especially in communities where they are most marginalized. Guided by the core values of equality, dignity, and empowerment, we ensure that no woman or girl is left behind.
We envision a Liberia where women and girls live in a safe, inclusive society—one that respects their rights, values their voices, and protects their well-being.
Today, Sisters 4 Sisters stands as a trusted advocate and development partner—working intersectionally to improve access to sexual and reproductive health, quality education, and sustainable livelihoods for women and young girls across the country.

Our core values
At Sisters 4 Sisters (Liberia) We stand for equality, dignity, and empowerment for every woman and girl, ensuring no one is left behind.
Our History
Our story began with a spark of inspiration.
In 2017, our founder, Ms. Fatumata Binta Sall, participated in the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA)’s International Training Program in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. Deeply moved by the training and fueled by her passion for gender justice, Ms. Sall returned to Liberia determined to create real, lasting change.
Her first efforts, under the initiative “Enhancing the Protection and Rights of Women, Girls, and Other Vulnerable Groups,” focused on increasing awareness and access to SRHR services among Liberian women and girls. These grassroots activities laid the foundation for a broader movement—one rooted in sisterhood, resilience, and equity.
In 2018, Sisters 4 Sisters (Liberia) was born. It officially registered in 2019, and has since grown into a recognized force for empowerment—serving not only girls and women, but also other marginalized communities across the country.
From humble beginnings to national impact, Sisters 4 Sisters continues to grow as a safe space, an advocate, and a movement, championing inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for all.
Our Impact
Established in 2019, Sisters 4 Sisters (Liberia) has grown into a recognized local organization actively working across several counties (i.e.. Margibi, Bong County, Grand Bassa County) to support the empowerment and well-being of women and young girls, including those from underserved and marginalized communities.
